Spot On Advice for Where to Site LED Traffic Signs

Report this content

Negotiating the tricky maze of new legislation and regulatory compliance when deciding where to site new LED road signs can be something of a minefield. To help specifiers and traffic engineers, Messagemaker Displays has produced a helpful infographic which provides a handy single page reference guide.

The easy to understand A4 sized infographic provides pointers relating to key issues such as siting on a bend and visibility, as well as avoiding conflicts with highway boundaries and other road signs and visual intrusion. Regulations specific to the mounting of signs are also covered by the infographic, all LED Signs are subject to national traffic signs regulations and general directions as laid down by TSRGD 2002.

Comments Nigel Parke of Messagemaker “As a specialist manufacturer and supplier of road signs, we aim to support customers through advice not just on specification but also during installation.  Recognising the need for clarity, we decided to develop the infographic to provide a visual guide covering these key areas.  Please just contact me for your copy”
