Accountants Get In on the App!

An East Midlands firm of chartered accountants and business advisers is embracing new technology and leading the way in the accountancy world by creating a mobile app.

Duncan & Toplis, which has 10 offices across the region, has developed a TaxApp to help both clients and professionals keep up to date with tax news and enable them to benefit from a wide range of tax tools.

The new TaxApp is available now and offers a range of tax calculators such as those for VAT and corporation tax and loan and mortgage repayments and will also show key tax rate tables to keep users up to date on the current tax position.

Another feature of the app is tax tips which offer advice on tax efficient savings and selling assets. The app also gives a reminder of key tax dates that can easily be added to the user’s calendar, and a news feed is available to provide regular updates for businesses on topics that matter to them.

The app also features links to the Duncan & Toplis social media channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn so that its users can join in the conversation online and share their thoughts and opinions.
