ASTLE BMW LAUNCHES DREAM CAR

The third generation BMW Six Series Coupé, which adds another chapter to the premium car marque’s decade-long tradition in the production of dream cars, will be unveiled at Astle BMW this weekend.
The eagerly awaited luxury vehicle, which combines the dynamics of a 2+2 seater sports car with outstanding touring comfort, will be available to test drive at Astle BMW in Grimsby and Scunthorpe from Saturday 15th October.
With sharper dynamics than the previous model the vehicle is the only car in the segment to offer top-class sporting ability and comfort.
The BMW Six Series Coupé will be available in three engine variants: BMW 650i Coupé with eight-cylinder power unit (300 kW/407 hp), BMW 640i Coupé with six-cylinder in-line petrol engine (235 kW/320 hp) and BMW 640d Coupé with a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine (230 kW/313 hp).
All engines come as standard with an eight-speed sports automatic gearbox and have unmatched BMW EfficientDynamics in the segment including Auto Start-Stop function and ECO PRO mode in the BMW 640i Coupé.
The 650i Coupé model has BMW TwinPower Turbo technology with High Precision Injection, does 27.2mpg and can get from 0 to 62mph in 4.9 seconds!
The 640i has the same BMW TwinPower Turbo technology with High Precision Injection as well as Valvetronic and does 0 to 62mp in 5.4 seconds. The vehicle completes 36.7mpg and both variants have a top speed of 155mph.
Marking another first for the Coupé is the newly developed chassis and the Coupé is the only car in the segment available with electric power steering, 460 litre luggage space, adaptive LED headlights for low and high beam including cornering function, fog lamps and rear lights also with LED technology.
With a 39mm increase in width and a 5mm reduction in height the Coupé has a new sporty design and unique equipment options including comfort and sports seats, active seats, seat ventilation, exclusive Nappa leather, ceramic applications and a newly developed and model-specific Bang & Olufsen surround sound system.
Features also include rear-view camera, surround view, speed limit info, BMW Night Vision and parking assistant. Standard BMW iDrive control system and a range of BMW ConnectedDrive features are also included.
