27th November 2012

A well known chartered accountant has relocated to the Sleaford office of Duncan & Toplis to help the business cope with an increased workload.

David Keal has moved from the firm’s Grantham office to provide extra support in business (unincorporated and corporate) and trust tax planning.

David (41) was educated in Boston and Sleaford and studied law at Nottingham Polytechnic (now Nottingham Trent University) before going on to work in accountancy in Lincolnshire.

“It’s been a great move for me and a very refreshing change,” said David, who is married with two children.

“I was looking for a different challenge and my new role gives me a much wider variety of more interesting work to do.”

Keith Phillips, a Partner with Duncan & Toplis, said David’s arrival has increased the capacity of the Sleaford office and provided additional expertise in tax and trust planning for the farming and small business sectors.

“We’ve had a very busy year and, despite the difficult economic times, the practice has seen a substantial increase in new clients. As a result we needed some extra support in our Sleaford office,” said Keith.

“We asked David to relocate to Sleaford because of his experience in general business and tax planning. David has a great deal of expertise in agriculture and smaller businesses.

“He has fitted in ideally because his expertise matches our client base. We now have even broader and stronger capabilities at our Sleaford office and many of our clients will know David from his time working in Sleaford and Boston in the past.”
