News release

6th June 2012

Accountants Duncan & Toplis are on course for a fund-raising drive at their Charity Golf Day.

The charities that have been chosen to benefit from this year’s event are Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and LIVES Lincolnshire. The event will take place at Belton Woods on Friday 6th July 2012.

The format of the event is teams of three and the Stableford scoring system will be used.

Ladies’, gentlemen’s and mixed teams will all compete for the same prizes. There will be team prizes on each course as well as the Duncan & Toplis Shield which is held by the overall winner for one year.

Lisa Pask, a member of the organising committee, said: “Our Charity Golf Day is very popular – last year we managed 83 teams which was a fantastic result!

“We really hope that we will receive as much support again this year as we would like to be able to make a substantial donation to both very worthwhile charities.

“Last year we managed to raise a grand total of £4,000 at this event and this year we are hoping to raise just as much for these deserving causes.”

65 teams have entered the tournament so far and 18 local companies have each sponsored a hole.

There will be an informal evening presentation in the Willow Suite as well as a buffet lunch.

If you would like to enter a team or sponsor a hole please contact Lisa Pask for a booking form on 01476 591200 or email golf@duntop.co.uk

All donations will go directly to the charities.
