Business people came together in Lincoln yesterday (Wednesday) to hear advice from experts on how to improve their business as the economic upturn gathers pace.

Building a Better Business provided delegates with useful tips on a range of topics, from social media and PR to employment law.

The event, which was organised by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and held at The Showroom in Lincoln, provided nine seminars and workshops as well as networking opportunities and displays by local businesses.

The guest speaker was Chris Illsley, who spoke about how he has grown Lincoln-based Running Imp into the UK’s leading running event supplier.

Ringrose Law exhibited at the event and Sally Hubbard gave a seminar of employment law essentials.
