Lincolnshire’s future economic growth will be the theme of the third annual Lincolnshire Property and Business Investment Show which takes place on Wednesday 28th March 2012 at the Lincolnshire Events Centre.

A popular feature of the event is a series of free seminars, which this year will be introduced by Jenny Gammon, Assistant Director of Economic Development at Lincolnshire County Council.

Seminars will be led by Ursula Lidbetter MBE, Chairman of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, Terry Mankertz from UKTI’s Investment Services Team and Alastair Cunningham, East Midlands Agent for the Bank of England.

The financial seminar in the afternoon will be led as usual by Streets Accountants.

More than 550 people attended the event last year, and show organiser Martin Freeman predicts this year’s event will attract even more as people are becoming more aware of the real business outcomes that have resulted from previous shows.

“The purpose of the event is to put the focus onLincolnshire,” he said. “Many people don't necessarily realise what great infrastructure this area has.

“The whole point of the event is to attract inward and indigenous investment into Lincolnshire, and based on the track record of the previous two I am sure it will be phenomenally successful.

“In particular we want to showcase Lincoln, Grantham and Gainsborough. Local authorities and private/public partnerships are also on board and we are urging the northern part of the county to get involved.”

Jill McCarthy, Business Investment Manager for Lincolnshire County Council, added: “The show will provide a shop window for professional service providers including, solicitors, accountants, investment locations, chartered surveyors, property agents, construction consultants and architects looking to meet potential property and business investors, and we look forward to welcoming them all to the event.”
