Glittering Launch for Bridal Boutique

News release

2nd July 2013

A luxurious new bridal boutique will launch this month with a wedding fair in the grounds of its idyllic setting in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside.

As well as an exhibition by selected wedding suppliers from florists to photographers, dresses stocked by the new store, The Bridal Lounge Highgate, will be modelled in a catwalk show.   Fifty free VIP tickets for brides-to-be and a guest are now available for the event, which takes place on Friday 26th July between 7pm and 9pm.

The celebration in Scredington, just outside Sleaford, will also see one lucky bride win £750 to put towards her dream wedding dress from the shop. To enter the competition, brides-to-be will be invited to send in a photograph of themselves with their future husband, along with a few lines explaining what makes their relationship special. The lucky winner will be announced at the party.

Rachael Scott, joint owner of the new venture, said: “We have been working hard for the last four months renovating the barn ready for our brides and we’re thrilled to be opening soon. The whole look is about glamour, sparkle and making brides feel special, which was something we wanted to put across with our opening, so we came up with the idea of doing something a little bit different.

“We’ve hosted wedding fairs in the area before and they are always really popular, so this seemed like a great way to show off what we have on offer, while also helping brides to source all the things they need for their special day, all in one place.

“Weddings can be expensive, and the competition is our way of saying congratulations and giving brides-to-be a little something to help ease the cost. As a Lincolnshire boutique, we wanted to make sure that we help out a local bride, so the competition is only open to brides who currently live in the county. We’re sure it’s going to be very popular.”

The grand opening party will start at 7pm, with champagne and canapés served by butlers. The catwalk show will be held between 7.45pm and 8.30pm, after which there will be time to have a look around and book appointments. The event will end at 9pm.

Exhibitors will include beauty boutique The Teal Room, Partyline Disco, Skendleby Hall, Symply Photography, Jupon Underwear, Izzy Rose Stationery, G & R Vintage Sweet Cart, and TR Catering, as well as hair stylists, florists and a wedding theme and accessories provider, Anniefloribunda.

To book your place, email your name, wedding date, address and mobile number to rachael@thebridalloungehighgate.co.uk using the subject line ‘Opening celebration tickets’. You will receive your ticket by email within 24 hours.

To be in with a chance of winning the wedding dress, brides must send their entry to the above address using the subject line ‘Competition’, including their name, wedding date, and address. Entries will be posted on the boutique’s twitter page, @LoungeBridal and www.facebook.com/bridalloungehighgate. Terms and conditions apply.  Call Rachael on 07887778639 or 01529 421894.
