News Release

17th August 2012

Allen Signs have joined forces with Listers Toyota and Ruddocks Design and Print to offer Lincolnshire businesses the opportunity to win a Toyota IQ for their business.

Listers Toyota, Ruddocks and Allen Signs have launched the competition to give businesses across Lincolnshire the chance to win a Toyota IQ for three months to help them promote their business.

James Boughton-Thomas, Centre Principal, commented: “The competition is a great way for us to get the IQ out and about in Lincoln and for local companies to find out how good it really is.

“The IQ is a fantastic car which lends itself well to promoting a business with its large doors and side panels and at the same time it gives the business a helping hand. It’s a win-win situation because it also means that our car is being used by a potential customer.”

The first winner will receive a brand new registration car in September and, with the expertise of branding specialists Ruddocks Design and Print, will benefit from an effective, eye-catching design to promote their business or brand.

Andy Clayton, Marketing Manager at Ruddocks, said: “Not only will the winner receive a car for three months, but we will also be able to offer them a powerful marketing tool giving their brand key exposure. We look forward to working with the winning business to send out the right message for them.”

The designs will be produced by Allen Signs using specialist wrapping vinyl onto the stylish new Toyota IQ. Glen Merryweather, Sales and Marketing Manager at Allen Signs, added: “We are looking forward to working closely with Listers and Ruddocks on this project, offering help and advice along the way.  We will print full colour artwork using wrapping vinyl and wrap the IQ to turn the design created into reality.

“At Allen Signs we focus on making your first impression count.  Vehicle wrapping is a great platform for businesses to promote themselves.  Research shows that an effective vehicle wrap in a city centre will be seen 1000’s of times per hour whilst it is on the road.

“By listening to and working closely with the winning business we hope to provide them with the tools to lead them to a successful three months of marketing!”

Car advertising is a powerful 24-hour promotional tool which can be one of the most effective ways to attract potential customers.

Businesses can apply online at www.ruddocks.co.uk  or by contacting Allen Signs on 01522 501500 or Listers Toyota on 01522 522097. The closing date for entries for the competition is 10th September 2012.
