Lincolnshire Spa Celebrates Top Award with Luxury Package

To celebrate being awarded ‘Thalgo Day Spa of the Year 2013’, the Grange Spa near Bourne is now launching a special package to showcase some of the products available in the luxury range.
The family-run day spa, owned by Matt and Emma Craven, is situated in Pointon, and was visited by a mystery shopper from Thalgo before winning the coveted award.
The new Grange Spa Thalgo Experience Day includes an Oxygen Facial, with a leg massage, and a Rebalancing Back Treatment – both using products from the Thalgo collection.
The experience will also include full use of the spa facilities, a fluffy bath robe and a light, locally sourced lunch and refreshments.
The package is worth £160 but is being offered to customers for just £120, to celebrate the spa’s success.
Commenting on the spa’s success Judith Emslie, Marketing Manager at Thalgo, said: “The Grange Spa stood out for its exceptional passion and enthusiasm for the Thalgo brand. Our mystery shopper gave glowing reports on the whole spa experience from reception through to the treatment which scored very highly.
“It was felt that the Grange Spa team provided complete commitment to Thalgo’s treatments and retailing and showed a real desire to succeed as winners. Originally we were to have one award for ‘Spa of the Year’ but as the standard was so high we decided to split this into two separate Day Spa and Residential Spa categories.”
Matt Craven, General Manager of The Grange Spa, said: “We are a fairly young spa, having only opened in 2009, so to win such a prestigious award and be recognised for our hard work means a lot to us.
“People forget that we are a local, independent, family-run business, not a corporate brand, and so achievements like this make us really proud of what we and our amazing team have worked so hard for. We wanted to share our celebration not only with our loyal customers, but also with people in our region who may not have been to visit us yet, by offering them a special package.”
French company Thalgo is the world leader in professional marine cosmetics, and has an entire research centre dedicated to exploring the health and beauty potential of the sea.
