LOUISE GOES ON THE ROAD FOR BEATSON CLARK

Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has appointed a new Field Sales Executive to its team.
Louise Roke will be travelling around the UK generating new leads and contacts for Beatson Clark, which manufactures glass products for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.
Louise gained seven years’ sales experience in the mobile phone industry before moving into media sales and she has spent the last eight years selling commercial advertising – mainly for Northcliffe Media – as Business Development Manager.
“I absolutely love my new role,” said Louise, who is married with two children and lives in Retford in Nottinghamshire.
“I’ve spent the last month learning about the products and the business processes so that in the New Year I can get out on the road and start speaking to potential clients.
“I can’t wait to shout about the products and what it is that sets Beatson Clark apart from other glass manufacturers.”
One of the aspects of the job Louise has enjoyed most is learning about glass manufacturing. “I’ve never worked in this industry before so it’s been a steep learning curve,” she said.
“It’s been interesting learning all about the manufacturing process and the many advantages of glass, particularly its inert properties and how easy it is to recycle.
“Beatson Clark has a unique position in the market place. We have a fantastic range of interesting products available off the shelf and are committed to new product development, offering flexibility in design and production which will make my role very satisfying.”
Louise will handle new business, informing brands about Beatson Clark and the benefits they can gain from their extensive experience, before taking them through the buying process.
“I’m going to be there to help clients through the whole process so that they are assured of the level of service and customer care that they’ll receive – something which Beatson Clark prides itself on.
“I’m also very keen to get across to clients Beatson Clark’s flexibility when it comes to small runs and niche products.”
