LUCKY WINNER TAKES HOME BMW IN PRIZE DRAW

A car enthusiast will be driving around in style after winning a prize draw for a new BMW 3 Series through Astle BMW Grimsby.

Lucky John Payne put his name in the pot for a chance to win one of 147 prizes during the BMW Ultimate Performance Event held at the dealership on Grimsby Road in Laceby and was chosen as the winner of a three-month ownership of the new BMW 320d Sport Saloon Automatic.

He picked up the black saloon, which comes complete with high-end red leather interior, from the dealership this week and will now have it for a full three months before handing the keys back to BMW.

“I’m over the moon to have been selected,” said Mr Payne, who was given a full brief on how the car operates by the dealership before taking it away from the forecourt.

“I put my name in but never thought I’d be the person they picked – I never win anything. I will enjoy having this car for time I’ve got it; I must say I quite like the red leather.”

Mr Payne took the call saying his name had been pulled from the pot during a trip to London.
