MSP Michael Matheson Shows Support for Nursery Milk Scheme

What:      Visit by MSP Michael Matheson

Member of the Scottish Parliament for Falkirk West Michael Matheson will be acting as milk monitor for the day when he visits Wellside Kindergarten on Friday 17th May.

As well as serving milk to the children he’ll be hearing from teachers and representatives from the UK’s leading school milk supplier Cool Milk about the health and educational benefits of the Government’s free milk scheme.

In Scotland all children under five in a day care or early years setting for two or more hours a day are eligible to receive a free daily drink of milk (1/3 pint) which is funded by the Department of Health.
