More than 70 key commercial property agents and developers in Lincolnshire are to attend a networking event at Lincoln’s newest hotel.

Invest Lincolnshire, the initiative responsible for promoting investment opportunities in the county, is hosting the event at DoubleTree by Hilton on Brayford Wharf North this Thursday (23rd February) in a bid to encourage investment within the county.

The ideas is to bring together key agents and those looking to develop businesses in Lincolnshire, as well as give them a chance to meet the Business Investment Team at Invest Lincolnshire, which is the economic development arm of Lincolnshire County Council.

Invest in Lincolnshire: A Networking Event for Property Agents and Developers will take place on Thursday 23rd February from 11.30am to 2pm and will feature presentations by business leaders from organisations including Siemens and QV Foods.

Jill McCarthy, Business Investment Manager for Lincolnshire County Council who heads up Invest Lincolnshire, said: “We are very pleased with the numbers that have signed up for the day.

Those attending will have the chance to tour the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln's hotel on the marina.

  • Richard Farrar, developer of the DoubleTree by Hilton
  • Neil Corner, Director of Service at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery
  • Simon Martin, Sales and Marketing Director at QV Foods and Fresh Approach

The event will begin with an address by Jenny Gammon, Assistant Director for Economy and Culture at Lincolnshire County Council, about major development opportunities and economic initiatives in the county.
