New Account Manager for Shooting Star PR

A leading Lincolnshire public relations agency has drafted in a new account manager after recently expanding its portfolio of clients.
Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR welcomes Sarah Howells, with a background in marketing, communications and engagement for the NHS, to the team as its newest account manager.
Launched in 2006, the agency’s ever growing list of clients currently includes Freshtime UK, Enable Holidays, Cool Milk, Duncan & Toplis, Beatson Clark, Waldeck, Age UK Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste University among others.
Sarah will have responsibility for her own group of clients, writing and distributing press releases, developing PR campaigns, advising on marketing practices, managing social media and building strong relationships with media contacts. She will also be responsible for bringing in new business.
Sarah, 27, said: “I am really excited about getting to know my clients and working closely with them to help them achieve their goals. With over five years’ experience within the NHS, I have a wealth of experience in media relations, social media and communications campaigns and I am delighted to be working with Shooting Star PR in the next step of my career.”
After graduating from Birmingham City University in 2006 with a degree in media and communications, Sarah returned to her home city of Lincoln to begin her career within the NHS. During her time there she managed media relations activity, maintained and developed numerous websites, developed an online presence for emerging organisations and supported the delivery of high-profile communication campaigns.
She will use these skills to help directors Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson further build the client base for the agency
