New Appointment Expands Shooting Star PR Team

Shooting Star PR has expanded its growing team still further with the appointment of Charley Sowden as Marketing Associate.
In her new role Charley will take responsibility for marketing and business development as the agency looks to grow significantly in 2014 and beyond.
An experienced and multi-skilled PR and marketing practitioner, Charley has held roles in advertising and creative agencies and worked on retail, fashion, luxury goods and sports marketing projects.
Her previous posts have included Head Of Ticketing for the BP London 2012 Team, Head of Marketing at men’s fashion brand Oliver Sweeney and Account Director at advertising agency Baby Creative.
“2014 is set to be an exciting year for us as we continue to grow and look for new opportunities, and Charley will be playing an important role in our development,” said Shooting Star PR Director Kate Strawson.
“She will be using her marketing and business development experience to build up our client base still further, while her skill set means we will also be able to offer an integrated PR and marketing service to our clients.”
Charley added: “The scope and quality of the services that Shooting Star PR already provides means there are many avenues for us to explore as the agency continues to grow and develop.
“I am very much looking forward to realising this potential alongside the team and using my experience to complement this offer.”
Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR was launched in 2006 and specialises in media relations, social media, marketing, editorial work, media training and crisis management.
The agency’s ever growing list of clients currently includes fresh food producer Freshtime UK, Bishop Grosseteste University, the NHS, glass manufacturer Beatson Clark and the Lincolnshire County Council broadband project onlincolnshire.
