New Manager at the Helm of Nissan

A new manager at Crystal of Lincoln Nissan says he will help grow the business after taking on the role this month.
Granville Clarkson, 40, has been brought in as Sales Manager at the Sadler Road dealership.
The promotion means he is now responsible for increasing revenue, ensuring excellent customer support and aftercare and heading up the sales team.
“My goal is to ensure people buy the right car and have an enjoyable time in the process,” said Granville, who lives in Grantham with his wife and three children.
“I’ve joined a good and strong team and I believe I can help grow the business. There has been some staff move on to different things and some new people start, so it’s time to build on the solid team we’ve now got and focus on moving the dealership forward.
“I want to help this branch prove what it can do by increasing sales. Nissans are great cars and I want to show people that. It’s a massive step for me and I think it proves my abilities.”
Granville began working for the Crystal Motor Group, the largest privately owned car dealership in Lincolnshire, three years ago at the Crystal of Grantham Nissan showroom.
He started as a salesman and within a year had been promoted to Sales Controller.
When a vacancy for the Lincoln job became available this month, he was selected for the role by Chris Whitehead, Dealer Principal for the Crystal Motor Group.
“We needed someone to hit the ground running who had experience of selling Nissan vehicles and knew how to get the best out of a dealership,” said Chris.
“Granville has gone from strength to strength since he began working with us three years ago and it was an easy decision to have him step up and take the helm at Lincoln. I am sure we will see great things from the dealership.”
