New Rising Star for Shooting Star PR

A leading Lincolnshire public relations agency has welcomed a recent graduate to its internship scheme.
Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR welcomes University of Lincoln graduate, Shey Osibowale, to the team as its newest Rising Star Intern.
The Rising Star scheme was created for recent graduates to develop their talent and put skills into practice, giving them a head-start in a competitive jobs market.
Shey will be responsible for writing press releases, updating social media profiles and supporting the account managers with other duties.
Shey, 22, said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to join Shooting Star PR as their newest Rising Star Intern. I am excited to get stuck in and I’m looking forward to gaining valuable experience that will help with the success of my PR career.”
Since graduating from the University of Lincoln in 2012 with a degree in Media Production, Shey has spent her time on work placements including a four-month stint at award winning PR agency Manifest.
“We’re really pleased to welcome Shey to the team,” explained Kate Strawson, one of the Directors at Shooting Star PR.
“Shey has managed to gain some great industry experience in the short time since graduating which shows commitment, drive and determination. We’d like to help her take the next step in her career and find a full-time PR position.
“Many of our past work experience students and interns have gone on to successful careers in PR and I hope Shey will do the same.”
