Shooting Star PR Offers Goodwill for Good Causes

Lincoln-based PR consultancy Shooting Star PR is on the lookout for a voluntary or community organisation to become its Charity of the Year for 2012.

Each year the agency teams up with a charity or not-for-profit organisation to deliver PR services – which they may otherwise not be able to afford – for free.

Now they’re looking for a charity for 2012 that could benefit from their services which include news releases, social media, feature writing, crisis management and media monitoring.

Candles, a local cancer research charity, has had the support of Shooting Star PR throughout 2011.

Pam Connock, MBE, commented: “I would certainly recommend Shooting Star PR to any charity that is looking for a helping hand. They worked closely with us as a team to help raise the profile and awareness of Candles and did so with brilliant results.

In recent years the company has given its advice and expertise to Strut in the Community and Lincoln’s Women Aid.
