A revolutionary tool which allows motor dealers to upload videos of their vehicles onto their website in seconds is part of a new package being offered by market-leading vehicle valeting company Autoclenz.

Autoclenz has teamed up with AutosOnShow.TV, video streaming specialists for the automotive industry, to become the first valeting firm in the UK to offer a video and still image service alongside cleaning and valeting.

Using the specialist software developed by AutosOnShow.TV, Autoclenz operatives will shoot a one-minute walk-round 360° video of the vehicle when it’s looking at its best – immediately after it has been cleaned and valeted.

It takes around 90 seconds for the video to be automatically processed and uploaded to a dealership website – and the system produces ten still images at the same time.

The revolutionary video software automatically recognises registration plates too, so the dealer doesn’t have to worry about naming or sorting the video and images before they go online.

“The way people buy cars has changed enormously thanks to the growth of the Internet,” said Rachel Price, Marketing Director at AutosOnShow.TV, currently the only UK company offering this service.

“Ten years ago people would visit ten dealerships before choosing a car, but last year the average was 1.7 visits per purchase.

“Increasingly people are going online to do research into buying their next car, and our pioneering software makes that important choice so much easier for them.

“Watching the walk-round video is almost as good as looking round the car on the forecourt itself!”

Martin Peters, Sales Director at Autoclenz, says the new partnership is another way Autoclenz can add value for its customers.

“Video is the future as far as auto retail is concerned, and we’re proud to be leading the way in this field,” he said.

“More and more dealers have been asking us if we can take photos and shoot video after we’ve valeted their vehicles. It’s the ideal time to do it.

“This partnership is a perfect fit for us: our operatives can shoot the video themselves in a matter of minutes and the sophisticated software means the video and images can be uploaded on a dealer’s website in seconds.

“We’re confident that this new service will prove immensely popular with our customers. We like to go the extra mile for them and this is one more way in which we can do that.”
