News release

24th January 2014

Parents needn’t worry about keeping their children entertained during the February half term – because Camp Coconuts has it all under control!

Coconuts Play and Party Centre in Barry is offering mums and dads a cost-effective way to entertain their children in the school holiday from Monday 24th to Friday 28th February.

For just £23 per day, parents can drop off children aged between four and 12 at the play centre. Children will be provided a nutritious start to their day with breakfast, later followed by lunch, tea and snacks which are all included in the daily fee.

Over the course of the week children will enjoy a variety of fun-packed activities including arts and crafts, games, cooking, dance and story time.

Camp Coconuts also has its own outdoor play area which is perfect for football, parachute games and den making, and the children have exclusive use of the huge play frame before 10am.

A visit from Maverick Stables has also been arranged so the children can be given lessons on horse riding and grooming.

In addition they will be taken on trips to Barry Island and Cosmeston Lakes near Penarth to help increase their knowledge of the local area.

“As a mum myself I can understand the stresses parents face having to organise engaging activities or childcare for their young ones during school holidays,” said Abeer Bafaqih, owner of Coconuts Play and Party Centre and Daisy Day Nursery.

“Camp Coconuts is the perfect opportunity for parents to drop off their children in a safe environment supervised by a team of fully qualified staff.

“Even if the weather’s bad we have our own base room and activities are planned to ensure the children are always entertained in a great space for them to enjoy a bounty of fun activities.”

Camp Coconuts, on Sully Moors Road in Barry, is open throughout the February half term from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.30pm. A one-off £25 registration fee is required.

Places are limited to 24 per day so if you'd like to book a place please call 01446 724940 and ask for Ceri Stokes or email ceri@daisydaynursery.com

Camp Coconuts will run during all the school holidays this year with the exception of the Christmas break.
