A new service brochure from Siemens Mechanical Drives highlights the expanded service facilities at the new Leeds factory and puts the emphasis firmly on future and renewable energy servicing needs.

Siemens Mechanical Drives is part of the Drive Technologies Division within the Siemens Industry sector, and relocated its service facility to a new factory in Leeds 18 months ago. There is now enhanced capacity for wind turbine servicing in all sizes, plus rail coupling specialised service facilities, along with improved added value services for other areas.

Siemens service manager Gary Husband commented on the service focus: “Our drive train products are in use worldwide, and this new brochure highlights what we can now offer customers. Our aim is to provide the highest possible service levels with the fastest turnaround to enhance the product lifecycle, as well as value-added services which bring real benefits to customers.”
