Customer Savings Average $140 Per Order with Sierra Trading Post
Cheyenne, Wyo., Aug. 10, 2012 – Loyal customers know Sierra Trading Post’s tagline – Great Deals. Great Brands. – and they know the Top 100 Internet retailer takes savings very seriously.
In June, customers saved an average of $140 off retail prices on every order, pushing the total monthly savings for all customers to $25.6 million and bringing year-to-date savings total to a startling $170 million for customers.
“It all starts with the relationships our buyers have with our vendors,” Sierra Trading Post President Gary Imig says. “We negotiate for the best price, which we pass on to customers. We even publish that daily savings on our homepage.”
For 26 years, Sierra Trading Post has offered seconds and closeouts to customers both online and in its outlet stores.
“Customers save 35-70 percent off retail prices every day,” Imig explained. “In June that average savings was 60 percent off retail. We meant it when we say we’re saving customers on clothing, footwear, gear, sporting and home goods.”
Accessing savings will only get easier for customers. Sierra Trading Post will expand its retail presence over the next five years. Mobile applications also are planned. While a mobile shopping app for Apple users is in development now, Android users will be downloading an app in early September.
