Sifo Group changes its name to Observer AB The Annual General Meeting of publicly listed Sifo Group has decided that the group will change its name to Observer AB. Following the sale of the Sifo Research & Consulting division and the Sifo brand, Sifo Group is changing its name. The group's core business is media and market monitoring carried out by the Observer Media Intelligence division. As a result, the Annual General Meeting decided on Tuesday that the publicly listed company will change its name to Observer AB. The following members of the Board of Directors were reelected: Örjan Håkansson, Ulf Ivarsson, Håkan Bryngelson, Hans Tson Söderström, Rolf Ekedahl and the company's Chief Executive Officer, Robert Lundberg. In addition, Sven-Åke Lewin was elected as a new member. At the Board meeting following the election, Örjan Håkansson was appointed Chairman. The Board of Directors also appointed Hans Strand, head of the Observer Media Intelligence division, Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO. Moreover, the Annual General Meeting approved the dividend of SEK 0.35 per share. The record day for the dividend is May 12, and the dividend is expected to be paid on May 17, 2000.
