Company Revamps Popular iOS App to sign documents anywhere, anytime

San Francisco, April 2, 2014: Electronic signature company SignEasy has unveiled a complete redesign of its iOS app by focusing on iOS7 design principles and improved user experience. Key benefits of the app overhaul include a more fluid and intuitive user interface, fewer clicks to sign on the go, and the ability to edit offline, allowing users to digitally sign documents anywhere, anytime.

SignEasy, a paperless solution for filling and signing documents, is a mobile app that enables individuals and businesses to expedite business turnaround times, close more sales and save time and money in an effortless and efficient way. Founded in 2010 and a forerunner in the fast-growing eSignature market, SignEasy generated revenue within months of launching, reached close to 1 million downloads in 2013, and is on target to further increase revenue by 200% this year.

SignEasy’s growth can be attributed to its early focus on an untapped market, its attention to direct customer feedback, integration with the most popular cloud storage services and localization in several languages, along with an affordable pricing structure. SignEasy has nearly 70,000 paying users, and is on target to hit two million downloads shortly. The electronic signature app has proved popular in industries such as real estate, insurance, legal, accounting, finance, logistics and transportation, technology and education, with independent professionals and SMBs eager to boost productivity and increase revenue by processing transactions, contracts and legally binding documents on the go.

The newly designed app, as revealed today, sees an overhaul of the UX to make the entire fill and sign workflow faster. The highlights of the new app include:

  • Faster workflow: 50-75% less clicks to sign a document
  • Easier to fill and review documents: Instant edit, instant delete, tap and zoom on all document elements, preview page thumbnails to jump ahead in long documents
  • Offline signing: Users can fill and save their signed documents even when they are not connected to internet

“Since we created SignEasy, our focus has been to enable consumers, on-the-go professionals and office-based knowledge workers to be more productive and efficient in doing paperwork from their mobile devices,” said Sunil Patro, Founder and CEO of SignEasy. “That means fewer clicks, fewer screens and fewer gestures to sign and fill documents without any distraction. With the new SignEasy v5.0 app, the average time required to sign and return documents is 60% less than key competitor apps.”

Looking ahead, SignEasy’s mission is to be the number one eSignature solution for consumers and SMBs worldwide. Later this year, the company plans to increase localization by adding to the currently offered languages, which include French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Portuguese.

Sunil Patro added, “We are committed to bring the same UX and features to the SignEasy Android app soon, continuing the innovation in eSignature adoption.”

The SignEasy iOS app is available download from the Apple App Store today. Former versions of the app are also available on Google Play, and at BlackBerry World.
