Sikich and Achieve Consulting Merge to Provide Clients Broader Range of Resources

NAPERVILLE, Ill. January 2, 2013 — Sikich LLP, a leading accounting, advisory, investment banking, technology and managed services firm, is pleased to announce its recent merger with Achieve Consulting, a supply chain consulting firm based in Warrenville, Ill. This merger, effective today, marks the start of Sikich’s newest service line, supply chain consulting, which will be available immediately for current clients.

“Adding the Achieve team will now allow Sikich to offer expert consulting services related to supply chain management, from demand management and key performance indicators to supplier management and integration, and more,” said Stan Logan, chief operating officer and partner at Sikich. “Their expert team provides only the highest-quality supply chain consulting services, and we are confident that this merger will help our clients realize even higher levels of success.”

With this merger, Sikich’s clients will have access to even more resources to help improve their organizations’ operations, management and overall bottom lines. The new supply chain consulting practice will offer clients, particularly those in the manufacturing and distribution industry, the opportunity to gain a more competitive, market-responsive supply chain through improvements in strategies, processes and enabling systems.

Achieve Consulting brings with it more than 80 years of combined experience on the industry and consulting sides. Owners Dave Forberg and Gregg Hague will join Sikich as partners, both of whom specialize in services such as distribution network design, facility design, maintenance process and system design, and material handling system implementation, to name a few. Forberg holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois, and Hague holds an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University. Additionally, Jeff Coghlan and Scott Uher will join Sikich as managers.

“Our focus has been applying proven and emerging operational practices and technologies, and we have seen success through cost-effectively implementing best practices and leading technologies that provide real value for our clients,” said Forberg. “As Sikich works in industries that match our skills and experience, we are very excited about all the possible opportunities that this merger presents. We look forward to providing our supply chain consulting services to a broader range of customers, while exposing our clients to the complementary services that Sikich already offers.”

The professionals from Achieve are now located at Sikich’s corporate headquarters in Naperville. Forberg and Hague are in the process of contacting clients to inform them of the recent change and address any questions they may have about the transition or Sikich.
