PAYNOVA IN MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH LEADING GERMAN INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER STRATO
Paynova has signed an agreement with one of the largest Internet Service Providers in Germany, STRATO Medien AG. The agreement means that Paynova’s payment services will be offered as a standard payment option in the e-commerce package Business Shop 2.0. Early this autumn a nation wide marketing campaign will take off and continue through various marketing channels during the rest of the year. STRATO estimates that the e-commerce service will generate more than 100 new e-retailers each month.
Business Shop 2.0 is based on the technical platform ePages 5, where the Paynova payment services is already installed. STRATO’s e-commerce package contains various market modules with for instance eBay-connection/functionality, and it is adjusted to the needs of small and medium sized e-retailers.
Being one of Europe’s largest e-commerce markets, Germany is Paynova’s most important submarket. The cooperation is focused on extensive marketing actions through various channels and activities, via the Internet as well as traditional marketing actions offline.
“We have chosen Paynova because our customers want one single point of contact and avoid administrative inconvenience such as applying for and signing agreements with different payment acquirers. Paynova’s payment services is cost efficient and grants direct access to major credit and debit card companies and a range of European local payment methods.
