PAYNOVA INTEGRATED INTO THE LEADING EUROPEAN E-COMMERCE SOLUTION EPAGES 5

Paynova has signed an agreement with the leading European supplier of e-commerce solutions, ePages Software GmbH. Paynova’s payment services are already installed as a standard option in the internationally well established e-commerce platform ePages 5 used by over 30 000 Small and Medium–sized Enterprises (SME) throughout Europe but also in North America and Asia. ePages is marketed and distributed via some hundred Solution Partners like British Telecom, Lycos Europe, Strato and Swedish IFS.

With over 10 years experience ePages is a veteran in the e-commerce industry. After having acquired the small and medium sized enterprise (SME) business from Intershop Communications in 2002, ePages has developed and delivered e-commerce solutions for SMEs with a growing number of solution partners. ePages has serviced this segment extremely well and satisfied the most important requirements of SMEs: increased usability and flexibility with a capacity to manage growth, including options to integrate support for multiple languages and currencies. At the same time ePages has established a very effective business and market model in which over 100 solution partners market and distribute different types of e-shops, all based on ePages 5, but customized to local and industry-specific client needs.

ePages will market Paynova’s payment services in Partner and Client Newsletters, on the partner web site, in partner meetings, conferences etc. to current and potential partners and their clients. Among the 30 000 connected e-shops there are several well-known brands like Toyota Formel 1 Shop, Nokia, Yamaha Motor Gift shop, Philips and Ticket.se from Sweden.

Since Paynovas Payment Services already have been installed and tested on ePages 5 they will directly be fully functional for the e-shops that choose to upgrade to the new version. A major part of the approximately 30 000 e-shops will have the choice of modernizing their existing payment solutions like cash on delivery and invoicing to Paynova’s more web-based and dynamic payment solutions. Through Paynova the e-shops can get access to credit cards like VISA, MasterCard and Diners Club as well as applicable parts of 15 local payment methods in several European countries. Furthermore, Paynova offers a payment guarantee, simpler administration and a complete VISA and MasterCard certified payment Service which in turn no other PSP can offer.
