Poing, 11 December 2012 – SILICA, an Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) company, has been named as the Renesas Distributor of the Year for 2012. Silica received this exceptional honour from Renesas in recognition of Best Revenue Performance in FY’12.
Robert Green, CEO of Renesas Electronics Europe, presented the award at Renesas’ European Distribution Meeting in Hamburg, in appreciation of exceptional business growth performance. “2012 has been a challenging year for all of us, however Silica’s innovative Core ‘n More Microcontroller Program, is enabling Renesas to outperform in a competitive market.
