Semiconductor Distributor partners with Analog Devices, STMicroelectronics, Infineon and ON Semiconductor to highlight metering solutions

Poing, 18 September 2012 – Silica, with suppliers Analog Devices, ST, Infineon and ON Semiconductor will be highlighting the latest technologies and solutions at Billing/CRM Europe 2012 in Amsterdam. Market experts will be on hand on booth B40 throughout the show to discuss new applications.

Silica is supporting the market growth with a wide range of advanced power efficient components, including, microcontrollers, powerline and wireless communications devices and sensors. These technologies are backed by a host of design tools and engineering support to ensure a swift market entry for our customer.”

Highlights on booth B40 include demo stations with evaluation kits and reference designs. The ADF7021F-N from Analog Devices is a narrowband transceiver offering users IF filter bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz, making it ideally suited to worldwide narrowband standards, particularly those that stipulate 12.5 kHz channel separation. The ST presence will focus on an over-all system solution approach, including AFEs and diverse PLC solutions for electricity meters, ultra-low power MCUs for battery driven flow meters as well as Sub 1-GHz RF solutions.

The demonstration from ON Semiconductor will focus on innovative wired communications solutions such as MBUS modems as well as FSK based PLC solutions. The forth demo station from Infineon will feature energy efficient robust sensing and wireless components for use in the harshest of environments.
