Press Release: Danske Capital selects entire SimCorp Dimension front office solution to gain global competitive advantage

The Nordic based asset manager, Danske Capital, with EUR 79 billion under administration, is the most recent client to upgrade its investment management platform to also cover the entire SimCorp Dimension front office solution.

Danske Capital is the latest of several international investment management companies deciding to deploy SimCorp Dimension’s solutions for the front office. Danske Capital has been a SimCorp client since 1998, primarily using back and middle office functionality. The company expects to reap valuable benefits from using SimCorp Dimension front-to-back.

“We know that our choice of IT platform is key to gaining a global, competitive advantage. In the front office it has been important for us to get a multi asset trading platform including electronic trading and with fast system response, even when processing large client/transaction volumes. Equally important has been to get a system that will help us standardise and streamline workflows across the countries we operate in. We have found SimCorp’s front office suite to be the solution to all of that,” says Kurt Hangaard, COO at Danske Capital.

“Going forward SimCorp Dimension’s front office suite will enable us to constantly monitor and tune workflows according to our KPIs, across both front and middle office. More than 100,000 man-hours go into the development and upgrade of each half-yearly SimCorp Dimension release, a lot of this has been invested in the front office solution.
