Building repair specialist, Plastic Surgeon launches new Snag Reporter App
Plastic Surgeon, the leading cosmetic repair and fine finishing specialist has launched a new iPhone App, called Snag Reporter, for building and facilities management professionals.
The Snag Reporter App has been specially designed to help Plastic Surgeon’s customers record and report damage in new build and existing buildings.
Rob Mouser, Managing Director of Plastic Surgeon said: “Snag Reporter will be very useful for our customers such as busy site managers or facilities managers, who have multiple areas of damage in many different buildings or sites in various locations.
“Snag Reporter will save them time, as it is quick and easy to compile snagging damage reports at the click of a button. Customers can add as many sites as they want onto the App. Once the site is added, individual plots, rooms or locations within the site can be listed. It is then possible to record every bit of damage. They can identify the damage location, damage type, material, for example glass or wood, etc, and the size of the damaged area.
“As well as speeding up the damage reporting process, customers can take photos of the damage and even annotate these, for example by drawing a circle around a specific area. This not only gives them a visual record of the damage, but means they can submit a detailed damage report very quickly.”
Once the damage is recorded on the App, a simple PDF report file can be compiled and emailed to both the customer’s own email address and Plastic Surgeon’s customer service team. When submitting the snagging report, the customer also has the option to select an urgent call back or quote.
Rob Mouser concludes: “I believe that Snag Reporter will be of great benefit to our customers, not only in saving them time when compiling and submitting snagging damage reports for repair assessment, but also in providing detailed reports of damage for their own records.”
