EEVS is the UK's leading provider of independent performance analysis and verification services for energy efficiency projects. Their core service is high quality performance measurement and verification for energy efficiency projects. They have evaluated the performance of over 400 energy-saving schemes to the global good practice standard – the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP). Each quarter EEVS surveys a wide range of non-domestic customers and suppliers of energy saving technologies and services using a core set of standardised questions. The output is Energy Efficiency Trends– a free and wholly evidence-based market intelligence ‘barometer’, monitoring key trends over time. The report now includes endorsement from UK industry bodies, ESTA and EMA.
The aim of the research is to provide a resource that tracks market activity within the sector, highlighting key changes and trends that occur over time. This reporting output is based solely on quarterly survey feedback (conducted in March, June, September and December) from industry customers and suppliers.
Graham Mills, Drumbeat’s Managing Director said:
“We regard Energy Efficiency Trends as a hugely valuable source of market intelligence for the industry and we are truly proud and delighted to be associated with it. Our confidence in EEVS’ professionalism and impartiality enables us to recommend them to our clients as part of Drumbeat’s commitment to industry best practice where we welcome independent verification of the benefits of our work”.
Drumbeat Energy Management’s own approach is to help organisations become self-sufficient in the art of energy management in the shortest practical time; developing clients’ in-house energy management skills and ensuring that energy savings go straight to the bottom line.
