ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR 2008 APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of Simrad Optronics ASA has approved the financial statements for 2008.

Compared to the preliminary results for 2008 presented in the interim financial reporting for the 4th quarter 2008 there are no substantial changes.

The annual report 2008 including the approved accounts will be distributed to the shareholders with the notice for the annual general meeting, which will take place May 7th 2009.
