New orders for Remote Weapon Station modules

Vingtech Corp and Vinghøg AS, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Simrad Optronics ASA, have received new orders from Kongsberg Protech Systems to supply different modules for Kongsberg's Protector Remote Weapon Station. The order value is NOK 47.5 million. A major of the production will be done at Vingtech’s facility in Maine, US. The remaining part will be produced at Vinghøg’s facility at Nøtterøy, Norway. The orders will be delivered during June 2010.
