Vingtech Australia has received their first order

Vingtech AUS Pty Ltd, a joint venture where Simrad Optronics ASA owns 55%, has received an order to deliver Vingmate Fire Control Systems. Vingtech Australia is also responsible for the integration of the whole Direct Fire Support Weapon System and the training courses. Vinghøg AS, a wholly-owned ubsidiary of Simrad Optronics ASA, will produce the Vingmate systems and Vingtech Australia will handle the training courses. The contract value is MNOK 2.6 and delivery shall take place in January 2010. The contract is a direct consequence of the Simrad Optronics Group's presence in the region, as it has been considered important for the customers that the Group is able to execute training and technical support locally.
