Dallas, Texas – Sims Recycling Solutions, the global leader in electronics reuse and recycling, is pleased to announce that their facility in Dallas, Texas, has earned the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications. The dedicated staff of the facility’s safety, health and environmental department put much hard work, training, management and employee commitment into ensuring the Dallas facility would operate up to these standards and attain these certifications.

OHSAS 18001 is an international occupational health and safety management system standard that enables an organization to manage and control its health and safety risks and improve its performance. OHSAS 18001 certification is the result of an audited verification of the organization’s management system to achieve those goals. ISO 14001 is an international environmental standard designed to help organizations establish, implement, maintain and improve its environmental management system and performance.
