[Stockholm, 17 May 2011] - Daeshin Engineering & Machinery Co., Ltd, one of
South Korea's leading providers of castings, forgings and engineering services
to the industrial power and marine industries, has entered into a technology
supply agreement with the Swedish process control specialist SinterCast for the
development of Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI).  Under the terms of the agreement,
SinterCast will supply a Mini-System 3000 process control system, related
hardware, and engineering service to support the establishment of a robust CGI
production process.  The Mini-System 3000 will be commissioned during June 2011.

"Approximately 15% of SinterCast's current series production volume is derived
from components other than automotive cylinder blocks and heads.  This agreement
with Daeshin extends our ability to identify and support new product
opportunities in the industrial power sector" said Dr Steve Dawson, President &
CEO of SinterCast.  "The agreement with Daeshin marks our fourth foundry
customer in the important Korean market and also represents the ninth
installation of our Mini-System derivative that was introduced in September
2004.  We look forward to supporting the product development activities at
Daeshin and to exploring new CGI opportunities as the global industrial power
industry develops more powerful, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly
engines."
