Fagor Ederlan Tafalla foundry upgrades Compacted Graphite Iron production capability

[Tafalla and Stockholm, 19 December 2019] – The Fagor Ederlan Group has ordered a capacity and functionality upgrade of the SinterCast Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) process control system at its foundry in Tafalla, Spain.   The order specifies an upgrade from the initial System 2000 installation to the full System 3000 standard in order to support intensified product development of commercial vehicle and industrial power engine components.  The System 3000 has been installed and initial CGI prototype production is underway.
