Kimura Foundry America adopts SinterCast process control technology
- SinterCast Mini-System 3000 to be installed in Kimura US facility during second quarter

[Shelbyville, USA and Stockholm, 14 May 2019] – Kimura Foundry America, Inc., a greenfield cast metal foundry recently established in Shelbyville, Indiana, has entered into a technology supply agreement with the Swedish process control specialist SinterCast for Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) product development, prototyping and niche volume production. Under the terms of the agreement, SinterCast will install a Mini-System 3000 at the Kimura Shelbyville facility during the second quarter of 2019 and provide technical support for the establishment of a robust CGI production process. The Shelbyville installation will enable Kimura to independently produce high quality CGI components in North America and Asia for its global customer base.
