The original street layout survives today but the All Souls Church is the only existing building and most of the buildings we see today were rebuilt with final works finishing in 1928. Every building in Regent Street is protected and listed as at least Grade II. In 1954 Regent Street was the first shopping thoroughfare in Europe to illuminate Christmas decorations.
Regent Street has its own Historical Walking Tour App.
