Media Invitation: Register for media access to World Water Week 2026 in Stockholm
As 2026 becomes a defining year for global water action, we invite you to attend and cover World Water Week 2026 in Stockholm from 23–27 August.
World Water Week is an independent and impartial platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation on water. Organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), it brings together policymakers, scientists, businesses, civil society and practitioners to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and advance solutions to global water challenges.
This year's theme, Water for People and Progress, explores how water can improve lives, strengthen societies, and support sustainable development.
Across the programme, journalists will find the people, ideas and debates shaping the global water agenda - from climate and business to finance, governance and international cooperation.
As an accredited journalist, you will have access to:
-
Exclusive interview opportunities with global policymakers, researchers, business leaders, and SIWI experts
-
Centre Stage sessions, high-level panels and more than 300 events exploring the ideas, policies and partnerships shaping the global water agenda
-
