Skandigen's board calls an extraordinary general meeting about change of name The board of Industriförvaltnings AB Skandigen has decided to call an extraor- dinary general meeting on January 10, 2000. The meeting is proposed to decide about change of the company's name to Skanditek Industriförvaltning AB or in the second place Industriförvaltnings AB Skanditek. The proposal of change of name is in the light of the change of business op- erations, which occurred when the so-called KBB-companies were acquired in January 1999. From being a biotechnology company, the business was shifted to mainly comprise investments in a number of Swedish growth companies, mainly within contract manufacturing of advanced industrial components, electronics and information technology. The name Skanditek is intended to maintain the continuity in the company's history by keeping the beginning Skandi- as well as to express the new focus on technology companies with the ending -tek. The name is registered to one of Skandigen's subsidiaries and the change will be effected through a so-called cross change of name. Shareholders representing more than 65 percent of votes and capital support the board's proposal. Notice to attend extraordinary general meeting is attached in Swedish.
