Skanditek portfolio company Theducation AB acquires high schools

Theducation, which develops new products and services for the educational sector, is acquiring 92.8 percent of Information & Kompetens i Sverige AB.

Information & Kompetens i Sverige, Infokomp, currently operates high schools at seven locations. Infokomp also engages extensively in operations involving municipal adult education in such locations as Stockholm, Malmö, Linköping and Sollentuna Municipalities. In conjunction with the transaction, Skanditek is increasing its investment in Theducation from 43.4 percent to 47.9 percent, and is subscribing for a convertible debenture loan amounting to SEK 8 million as part of the financing of the acquisition.
