Anders Blomqvist has been appointed Senior Vice President Internal Audit at Skanska. Anders Blomqvist will begin September 1, and succeeds Erik Skoglund who, as announced earlier, will leave Skanska to become Head of Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigations and Dispute Services (FIDS) unit in the Nordic region.

Anders Blomqvist is 50 and has for the past two years been the head of Internal Audit at the defense and security group SAAB AB. Prior to that, he was at Gambro AB for about ten years where he held positions as Group Controller, Head of Internal Audit and Tax Manager.

“I am truly pleased to have Anders Blomqvist on board. He has solid experience of internal audit and of working in international organizations. Skanska conducts project-based business in several home markets. Anders’ experience from different operating models in an international market makes for a strong match”, says Peter Wallin, Executive Vice President and CFO of Skanska.

Skanska’s Internal Audit is designed to fulfill the requirements stipulated in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance and to strengthen internal control. The Group staff unit falls directly under the Board’s Audit Committee and under the leadership of the CFO.
