Anders Göransson is appointed Senior Vice President Internal Audit at Skanska as of December 10, 2013. Anders Göransson has for the past year headed the Operational Performance Center supporting Skanska’s residential units in becoming more efficient and cost transparent. He has been working with Skanska since 1986, among many positions as business unit president for Skanska Industrial Production Nordic (IPN), head of Nordic Procurement Unit (NPU) and CEO of Myresjöhus. Anders succeeds Anders Blomqvist who has decided to leave Skanska.

Skanska’s Internal Audit is designed to fulfill the requirements stipulated in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance and to strengthen internal control. The Group staff unit falls directly under the Board’s Audit Committee and under the leadership of Peter Wallin, CFO Skanska.

“I am truly pleased to have Anders Göransson on board. He has solid experience of Skanska, from working in numerous business streams and geographies. We are in the process of integrating our internal audit closer to our risk management procedures as well as developing the requirements within internal audit beyond compliance. Anders has the both skills and the sound judgment to meet that challenge,” says Peter Wallin, Executive Vice President and CFO of Skanska.
