Fredrik Lundberg and Jan Gurander decline re-election to the Board of Directors of Skanska ahead of the Annual General Meeting 2025
Board members Fredrik Lundberg and Jan Gurander have given notice to the Nomination Committee of Skanska AB that they are not available for re-election to the Board of Directors ahead of the Annual General Meeting 2025.
Fredrik Lundberg has been a member of Skanska’s Board of Directors since 2011 and Jan Gurander since 2019.
“On behalf of Skanska and the entire Board I would like to sincerely thank Fredrik and Jan for their dedicated commitment and great contributions. Fredrik’s and Jan’s extensive experience and knowledge has been incredibly valuable to the Board,” says Skanska’s Chairman Hans Biörck.
The Nomination Committee of Skanska proposes that Martin Lindqvist is elected as new board member. Martin was born in 1962, has a B. Sc. Economics and was previously the President and CEO of SSAB. Today he serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Swiss Steel and Jernkontoret and as board member of SCA, Industriarbetsgivarna (the Swedish Association of Industrial Employers), and Stål och Metall. He has previously held senior positions within SSAB and NCC.
The Nomination Committee’s complete proposals to the Annual General Meeting 2025 will be announced in the notice convening the Annual General Meeting 2025 of Skanska AB.
The Annual General Meeting 2025 will be held on Monday April 7, 2025, at Sergel Hub, Sveavägen 10A, Stockholm, Sweden.
