Kenneth Nilsson appointed new Business Unit President of Skanska Finland

Kenneth Nilsson has been appointed new Business Unit President of Skanska Finland. He will assume his position on November 1 and will be stationed in Helsinki.

Kenneth Nilsson is today working as Executive Vice President Civil at Skanska Sweden. He has been in the company for 25 years out of which nine as Executive Vice President Civil. Kenneth Nilsson has extensive experience from working with a broad variety of construction operations.

“Kenneth Nilsson has a solid track record of profitable operations and of leading large organizations. His skills will be particularly valuable when Skanska Finland increases focus on growing the civil operations, with among other things the recent acquisition of the civil construction company Soraset Yhtiöt”, says Johan Karlström, President and CEO of Skanska AB.

Kenneth Nilsson succeeds Juha Hetemäki who has been the Business Unit President of Skanska Finland for the last 7 years.

“Juha Hetemäki is a well respected and appreciated leader who has been instrumental in developing Skanska Finland to one of the leading actors in the Finnish and Estonian markets. He has also been very committed to cross-border collaboration and I look forward to continue working together with Juha in Skanska”, says Johan Karlström.

Kenneth Nilsson will be succeeded by Patrik Larsson, today Regional Manager Civil at Skanska Sweden.
