New assignments for Skanska in Hong Kong worth SEK 139 M Skanska has received two new assignments in Hong Kong with a combined order value of USD 16.8 M, or approximately SEK 139 M. The customers are Hong Kong SAR's Water Supplies Department and Hong Kong SAR's Drainage Service Department. One of the assignments involves laying a 7 km water pipeline in the eastern part of Kowloon, while the other involves the construction of a local sewage and wastewater network in the New Territories. Both projects will be started immediately, with completion scheduled within three years and two years respectively. Skanska has been established in Hong Kong since the mid 1960s. Skanska International Civil Engineering is currently working on projects relating to the city's water treatment plant and upgrading of the subway system. The total combined order value for these projects is approximately USD 60 M, or about SEK 500 M.
