New Skanska chairman to be appointed

New Skanska chairman to be appointed The present Chairman of the Board of Skanska AB, Bo Rydin, has advised the nomination committee that he will not be available for re-election as Director of the Board following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in April 2002. The nomination committee has informed Skanska AB that the committee will propose re-election of the other present board members Claes Björk, Eliot R. Cutler, Per-Olof Eriksson, Roger Flanagan, Sören Gyll, Finn Johnsson, Sverker Martin-Löf, Arne Mårtensson and election of Anders Nyrén, CEO of AB Industrivärden, as new board member. The Board of Skanska AB has expressed its intent to appoint Sverker Martin-Löf as Chairman of the Board.
